Ok . . .
I can BF . . .
I can pump . . .
I can do brest compressions . . .
I can handle baby poop and boggies . . .
But for some reason I am totally weirded out about hand expressing brest milk. I admit I haven't tried it. It just seems like it would be painful. Plus I'm not the kind of person to "play" with my boobs. I tried nipple stimulation to help bring on labor (I was 2 weeks late and tried other "tricks" too). And that totally was weird! But know I need to learn so that when I return to work I can get more milk per pumping session.
Am I the only one who feels this way???
When's the best time to do it (before or after pumping)? Any tricks or hints to make it more comfortable and productive?
