Thanks and another question re: supplementing

I posted for the first time last week about trying to pump at a work event and you all were very helpful. The event ended up being cancelled, so it was a non-issue, but I wanted to say thank you anyway.

I was also wondering, for anyone that supplements with formula, how many ounces of formula do you give your LO per serving. We currently do one formula bottle per day since I can't pump enough for him while I'm at work. We've been doing six ounces most days (unless I happened to have a great pumping day the day before), because that is what the formula company recommends for his age -- almost five months. However, he seems to spit up a lot of that. He's always been a frequent but happy spitter, but in the past month his spitting up has really decreased a ton when nursed or getting bottles of BM so now it's really just the formula spitting that's a problem. Could his formula bottle be too big? Thanks!
