my problem with nursing in public

My cabin fever has encouraged me to figure out how to nurse in public, so I've been practicing at home. I think nursing in public is totally fine but I have anxiety about flashing my nipple. My problem is that we are working on getting off the shield bc I have flat nipples and so latching is not exactly quick for us. DD pulls on and off a few times and it takes a couple of minutes. Also, I feel like I need more hands trying to work around the cover. Do you have to hold your boob to get lo to latch or is that just me? Any tips?? I need to get out!!

Edit: also...without a boppy or pillow my arms feel like they will fall off. How do you hold your baby up for that long?
