Breastfeeding in an Ergo

If you BF with baby in an Ergo, how exactly do you do it? Is baby more in a sitting up position or a side lying position? Can you only do it when baby is still really small or is it possible when they are bigger? DS is 10 weeks old and almost 14 lbs. and I would like to be able to use the Ergo while NIP.
