Christmas in Omaha

Our extended family has decided to spend our Christmas in your awesome city. All together we'll have 4 kids ages 1,2,3, and 4 and 8 adults. We'll be spending 3 nights there sometime between Christmas Day and New Years. My family has vacationed in Omaha before and we loved it. So I know about a few 'touristy' things, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me about anything off the beaten path. Maybe something fun for the kids to do and also something just for the adults. Last time I talked to my dad he was wanting to get a hotel downtown, so that's the area we'll be staying in. We're so excited about getting together in Omaha this year!
