For those considering buying a glider...

Don't!  Haha.

 I got a beautiful glider that matched the crib and dresser and it started falling apart within a few months of use (and I'm pretty petite, if that matters).

My SIL got an expensive glider, same deal with hers....

Anyway after asking my other birth month board and finding out that a lot of other moms had similar problems, I ended up going to La Z Boy and getting a rocker recliner for a few hundred more than I spent on the piece of junk glider.   IT IS GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I love using it with my toddler and it'll be great to nurse in or sleep in with the new baby.

 I'd hate to see anyone waste so much money on a glider, especially if it's your first baby....Hope you don't mind that I shared
