refusing to let your baby nurse

So this morning my DD ate for an hour and a half like guzzle like she was never going to eat again, i unlatched and kept burping her in hopes that she would slow down and realize how much she had eaten but it did not help. She eventually threw up everywhere. I was wondering if she looks like she is headed down this road again can i just quit letting her nurse or do i let her nurse all she wants and just clean up afterwards
