2 EBF issues

The first week we had a latch problem causing cracked nipples but now that's good and gone. Now my LO is 10 days old and is getting so fussy at the breast. The past day or 2 my LO sometimes chokes/gags when he latches on. I can only think the let down is too fast for him. Not sure what to do about that?? Once he starts fussing he gets so angry and seems mad at my breast. I dont know what is wrong. I try calming him down and trying again but only works for a minute or so.

During the day he nurses every 2-3 hours for 10-20 min (on a good feeding) and at night its 3-4 hours. But i have to wake him up. I always feel so engorged when i wake up in the a.m should i feed him more often at night?

 any advice is greatly appreciated.
