pregnant 2 weeks before conception?

Ok - I asked about the LMP vs conception below.  Some of you posted that I was actually pregnant two weeks before conception?  What is that about?  I have issues with that.  i do not want to say I'm 6 weeks pregnant when my hubby has only been home 4 weeks lol.  Plus - I don't see how I could possibly be pregnant before conception.  I get that my body is getting ready but unless sperm meets egg, there is nothing there.  KWIM?
