D drops

Help! I'm a special snowflake and can't figure out these Carlson D drops. If I try to put the drop on my nip, it drips all the way down before I can get LO on. If I try dropping in her mouth, she invariably closes her mouth or moves. She doesn't take a daily bottle yet and has never taken a paci. How can one tiny drop be defeating me on a daily basis? Tips?
