4 wks - Suddenly sleepy & not nursing much

This kid is killing my boobs.  I've been pretty much nursing on demand because we've had great weight gain, but he slept 7 hours last night (yay, but OUCH my boobs felt and looked like two cantaloupes in my shirt).  Now he's slept for 4 hours, and went 3 hours earlier.  This is VERY unusual as he's usually eating constantly at least every 1.5 to 2 hrs through the day with a few longer naps.  At this rate I don't see feeding 8 times in 24 hrs.  I'm crazy engorged (and I pumped to pretty much empty this morning).  Is this some kind of weird backwards growth spurt?  I'm going to have to start waking him to feed again just for my comfort, because I don't want to pump and create any more of an oversupply issue or something.  Anyone else's baby doing this?
