Anyone have any info on what tea is okay during pregnancy? I've read a lot of conflicting stuff. One book will tell me that decaf tea is okay, another will tell me that any tea interferes with folic acid absorption. I read somewhere also that herbal tea is to be avoided in general because it hasn't been studied for use in pregnancy. I am a huge tea and coffee drinker, and I have given up coffee because of the caffeine (and the fact that it acts as sort of a laxative, which I don't need on top of my other discomforts). I'm not sure I can live without tea too! I'd even settle for chamomile!
