Shivers/Convulsions during nursing? Help

OK so maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill but this is really freaking me out. It happened yesterday and today before LO's afternoon nap. We were about 10 minutes into the nursing session and as he started to get sleepy and close his eyes, he began shivering/shaking. Like tiny wiggles. He was certainly dressed warm enough and had been cuddling with me for a while so it's not like he was shivering because of being cold. It was almost like how your body twitches when you're falling asleep, except it was rapid and prolonged, I would say about 10-15 seconds. I called the doctor immediately and she said it's the body's response to falling asleep, but I don't know if I buy it. Why has it only happened yesterday and today? It almost seemed seizure-like, but she said not to be concerned. I am though...I keep thinking about it and getting very worried. Has this happened to anyone else, or am I right to be freaking out over this? I was thinking of seeing if it happens again tomorrow, and then getting a second opinion if it does. LO has an appmt. with a neuro specialist on Tuesday to get the tiny flat spot behind his ear evaluated...maybe this is something I can bring up during that doctor visit?
