Excess lipase - Need suggestions

I just thawed a couple of my first bags of frozen milk (frozen about 3 weeks).  It smelled/tasted odd, but DS took it fine.  I've determined it's likely excess lipase, since it does smell/taste "soapy" or "metallic," not sour.

So here is my question... is the smell/taste going to continue to get worse the longer the milk is frozen?  Should I make an effort to use up the older milk sooner, rather than take the chance that he might start rejecting the milk if it gets even older and the taste gets worse?  As of now, I'm pumping/freezing morning and night.  But if we give a bottle of milk during the day for some reason, I express additional milk and give it to him fresh.  Should I freeze that milk instead and try to use up the older supply first?  I'm going to be returning to work, so having extra milk on hand will be necessary and I will be pumping milk daily.

Any thoughts/suggestions/experiences?  Thanks in advance!
