Engorgement and painful lumps.

Hi, I'm new to the breast feeding boards, so please excuse my ignorance in asking questions which I'm sure have been asked a hundred times before. I'd really appreciate some help though, so thank you in advance!

I'm a first time mom and today is day 6 of breast feeding. It has been going well up until yesterday when I noticed two very large lumps in my left armpit, which I am assuming are clogged ducts. Also on this side my breast has been getting overly engorged and the nipple is very sore!

Is there anything I can do to relieve the lumps and engorgement? The lanolin is helping the nipple but I'm not helping right now by favoring my other breast due to the pain.

Another question I have is when LO is sleeping between feeds, should I be pumping my breasts? And if yes, fit how long?
