Uterine bleed

I have been bleeding for over 3 weeks now, I mean red with clots sometimes.  Went to the dr and had an ultrasound yesterday.  He said that there's a small spot in my uterus that is bleeding, that it's fairly common, and usually doesn't cause actual bleeding, but I'm just a special case.  He said that it should go away by week 14-16, I'm only 7, so the idea of bleeding for 9 more weeks is bothering me.  I'm still categorized as a "threatened miscarriage", but there was a strong heartbeat, so the dr says my chances are only about 10%.  I'm still on pelvic rest, but was released to work out again.  Has anyone else had this?  I can't help but still be worried.
