manual vs electric pump

I had posted yesterday that due to an antibiotic Im on I can't BF for a week and have to use formula. I have been using a manual pump up until now and it has worked great. But now that I have to pump several times a day Im wondering if I should look into an electric pump. Any thoughts?

Also I have been reading that a manual pump will not empty the breast as much as an electric or nursing will, and that if I want to continue BF after the antibiotics that I need to be able to empty the breast wach time.
