Metformin users? (BFing Q)

Did you consult your doctor PP about taking it again? Or did you just start up the dose you took before gettinb pregnant? 

Who should I talk to about taking it again PP? My RE? My OB?

Also, how far PP did you start taking it again?

I want to TTC probably when DS#2 is 6 months (with expectations that it will probably take a year of trying again). I'm just curious about other people's experiences since I know BFing can stop your periods etc I am worried about having that going against me as well as my PCOS.
