Nipple Piercing and BFing

Good Morning, 

I have of course researched this, but would rather hear accounts from others.

I pierced my nipple YEARS ago (over 10) in college (wild days) and it came out a year later. It is bigger than the other, and some scar tissue. I was wondering if any one here has had any problems breastfeeding with a (formerly) pierced nipple? 

I am due any day, and was holding off on this question as I didn't want to come off sounding like an idiot.
