I wanted to cry...but I laughed instead

So I am a student teaching a kindergarten class this semester. I really enjoy being with these so honest kids. Anyways, I was outed two days after I found out I was pregnant by one of my kids in the class. I assumed all of them know by now since it's been over a week. Plus, tons of them ask me all sort of personal questions. But...one of my challenging boys came up to me today and patted my stomach then proudly said, "YOUR FAT!" I stood there in shock for a minute and a para who works in there said, "That's not nice to say...you know there's a baby in there." I chuckled then said, "Yeah, telling someone that they are fat is not very nice." 

My emotions and the fact that I have been working on losing weight for over a month then found out I was surprise pregnant. It really hurt my feelings...
