Gender reveal for long distances

I just started thinking...how am I going to tell my friends and family that are far away what gender the baby is?  I didn't want to do a party (nice to have something fun but between bachelor party, moving, and a wedding it's too much to do right now).  My friends said a pink or blue envelope would be enough but instead I'm thinking I'm going to make my own scratch off ticket.  That way they can reveal for themselves!  I'll obviously do it up cute with scrap book paper and what not but I thought it would be a cleaver way right?  What do you ladies think?  Any other ideas you had for revealing besides just calling/telling people?
