Suggestions... In minor fender bender yesterday

I hate to bother my doctor if it's nothing serious, and I was wondering if any of you have been through this.

I was rear ended yesterday, but fortunately it was not serious for my car.  The other car's front end was pretty badly dented.  I felt a little whip lash and my neck is a slightly stiff.  I didn't feel any pressure from my car seat on my stomach at all.  Do you think I should just check in with my doctor (just to be safe) or just wait until my regular check up next week?  My doctor's office is pretty easy to talk to, but I hate to bother them with something if it's not necessary and I will see my doctor next week.  Thoughts?
