So I'm interviewing for a nanny job that would be four days a week, 32 hours total. It's for a 14 month old little boy. DS would be there with us for one full day and two mornings, 14 hours total.
If I was to just have their little boy
the whole time, I think I would ask for $350 a week. But since DS would
be with me I know I should lower the rate. $250 a week is just too close to minimum wage so I really want to ask for $300. It comes out to about a dollar less an hour than the going rate. Do you think that's appropriate?
Would you offer that to a nanny in this situation?
