Ear Piercing Q

Is anyone going to do this or thinking about doing this?

There seems to be division about this in our families. My side keeps asking if I'm going to and when, as both my sister and I had our ears pierced at 3 Months. 

DH and his side of the fam think this is crazy. 

At first I thought I would definitely wait and let her decide what she wants to do when she gets older. But lately I've been getting a lot of is it a boy or a girl? Or "how old is HE?" Mind you the kid wears pink pretty much daily.

Just wondering where others stand on this subject.
