Napping and going back to work question

I go back to work in two weeks and MIL will be watching DS when I work. I will be working 12 hour shifts either 2 or 3 days a week depending on the week so he will be with her for a long stretch of time. Right now DS does not like to nap in his PNP and naps in his swing or bouncy seat and for now that is fine, but when MIL starts watching him she plans on to take him to her house and did buy a PNP for her home but thats it. She doesn't plan on getting a swing or bouncer since he will only be with her a couple days. What should I do about naps. Should I start trying to get him to nap in his PNP now? When he does fall asleep in it he will only sleep for maybe 45 minutes at the most and he really fights it and gets over tired. I'm not sure what to do. I don't want my MIL to have a screaming baby on her days, but I also don't want him to not sleep and get what he needs.
