We got home from a day at the pumpkin patch and hanging out with my brother, and soon to be sister, in-laws and my wife started getting sharp pains in her abdomen. She's not one to admit pain much, so I knew it was bad. So bad, it took us to the emergency room. Turns out, she has gall stones, I guess something common with pregnancy, and runs in her family. Not a fun evening watching my wife in pain, but we did get an ultrasound and found that the baby is OK. But, turns out gall stones are going to potentially be a problem throughout the rest of the pregnancy and will likely need her gall bladder removed shortly after the birth of our child. Very stressful evening.
