March 2013 Moms

If you are tired of thinking of your baby as fruit . . .

I posted this in my ticker-change answer, and it has given a few people IRL a good chuckle, so I thought I'd share.

My best bud on a day-to-day basis is my male co-worker.  He is 29, originally from Philly, and freakin' hilarious.  We live a real "Office Space" environment and make a big joke of it. Weeks and weeks ago he asked how big the baby was and I told him some fruit, I don't know, a blueberry, maybe.

He said, "That means nothing to me, give me something I understand. A computer? A printer? A keyboard?"

And so I was all, "A squeezy paperclip.  The black ones, for lots of pages. The baby is as big as a little black, metal squeezy paperclip."

So now, every week I tell him how big it is in office equipment.  It is a stapler right now.  A red Swingline.

I'm concerned when it gets as big as a PC tower. I hope it is out by then.
