perinatologist does want my A/S done at 18 weeks

I confirmed she does want it done at 18 weeks, so it's good I pushed to keep that week when I called to schedule it the other day.

She wants my fetal echocardiogram done at week 20, and wants to have my A/S info in hand at that point.

I guess with my history they want to be proactive about checking out the baby's heart early.  Sometimes baby's have arrhythmia issues in utero that require meds, so they are going to start monitoring their heart early.  The A/S should give us a rough look at the heart earlier, as the fetal echo definitely can't be done before 20 weeks for a clear view.

I'm happy to at least know "why" she wanted it scheduled when she did.
