Newbie & I Need Advice

Hello Beautiful Ladies.

I need some advice and need to be put in my place if I am overreacting. I just found out yesterday that I was 3 to 4 weeks pregnant. I was excited but let me just say that this pregnancy was not planned. So with my excitement, I took the news to my boyfriend who really didn't take it as excitingly as I thought he would. I am sad and a bit disappointed but am should I really be? He told me that it was a lot to take in. He already has a 8 year old son with another woman. We've been together for 4 years going on 5. So should I be much more understanding? Thank you for the advice.
