how long would you wait for your dr to call you back?

I'm impatient, but I want to give him a reasonable amount of time.

I know the results of the bloodwork came in yesterday afternoon. I was told "we'll see what the Dr has to say" by his receptionist when I called to ask about them.

I just want a referral to see an OB (my insurance requires a referral from my PCP). I don't know why he's dragging his feet checking my hcg levels every couple of days. I'm clearly pregnant, I have no history of miscarriages, my levels are rising in the appropriate amount of time, etc.

So should I call him back later today or just keep waiting?
