Really want to tell!!

When we were TTC and then after we found out I was pregnant, my husband and I agreed to wait until 12 weeks to tell anyone else, even family and close friends. But now I'm dying to tell people, and I'm only 7 weeks. Does anyone have any stories about waiting to tell that could help motivate me to wait? Also, I'm thinking of going ahead and telling one of my best friends, who lives in another state and would (probably) keep the secret. Is that a good idea? Thanks!
