brown spotting for 4 days 5 wks preg

Went to the doc today, brown spotting has been off on on TP when I wipe. No new blood or cramps. I had a vaginal sonogram done, what doc could see everything looks fine for now. I am measuring perfectly at 5 Weeks but doc wants me to come bavk next week for another sono when we can see baby better. Still having the discharge very worried. Doc just told me no sex, baths or hot tubs to take it easy.
Anyone else had brown discharge for days everything turned out perfectly fine?
