Hey ladies. I'm mostly a lurker here but the nurse practioner at my daughter's 2 month appt today shared a genius idea on how to secure a pacifier for nap/bed time so we're not constantly fetching it after they drop it. I know earlier today there was a post about wishing we could just duct tape it to them, using headbands to secure it, etc.
So here's the genius idea: using a Wubbanub (paci with small stuffed animal attached), wrap the Wubbanub animal INSIDE the swaddle so pacifier is perfectly positioned for LO to grab onto it.
Obviously, this works best if your LO is sleeping in a swing or RnP where they're seated, rather than on their backs in a crib because then the angle may not work out. I did a forehead slap when the nurse told me about it - why didn't I think of that earlier??!?!?!
Good luck!
