XP: Tylenol in first trimester?

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but is tylenol okay in the first trimester? From my internet research (and what I remember from my first pg) it looks like it is the approved pain reliever during pregnancy, but I wasn't sure if that included the first trimester. I pulled my back yesterday and am in excruciating pain. I have a call into my OB, but wanted to know if anyone else had gotten the okay to take regular strength tylenol this early. Thanks!
