What to expect at the first appt

I know all the questions and tests to prepare for, and I know that they will most likely check for a heartbeat (I'm assuming transvaginal because I'll be about 9 weeks). My question is, will we see an actual picture of the uterus, baby, and heartbeat, or will the heartbeat just be like when you see the lines that go up and down across the screen based on the heartbeat?
