Progesterone Question

I'm currently 12 weeks and have enough prometrium to take if for 5 more days. My doctor told me to go ahead and stop taking it then. I'm really excited to stop taking it, but I'm also really worried about it!

Should I be concerned at all? Should I ask for a blood test after a week to see if my levels are ok? Am I just being crazy? 

I guess I'm just concerned because I have been taking it for 2 years just to regulate my period and now for 3 straight months being pregnant. It's become my security blanket!
