Scar/incision tenderness question

I had an unplanned c-section six months ago. I've been able to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes for a few months now, but I can't stand to wear my jeans, because when I sit down, the denim presses/rubs against my scar, and it's really uncomfortable. Does this go away?? It hasn't been much of a problem over the summer - I just wear a lot of sun dresses or knit shorts - but once it starts getting cooler, I need to be able to wear jeans! All of my jeans are low-rise, which I'm sure is the reason it's uncomfortable. I guess I'm just wondering if I need to buy all new jeans or if it will eventually stop being uncomfortable to have a denim waist-band pressed against my scar.
