Speaking of sleep training...

This may be a silly question, but do ALL babies require some sort of sleep training, and if so, why? Is this something that happens later on when they get older? Currently, for bed time, I formula feed my son and then he goes into the crib (swaddled right now) drowsy, but awake (sometimes the drowsiness wears away by the time he is placed in the crib). He lays there, sometimes "talks," so his paci comes out, but after 3-4 paci insertions within 20 mins, he falls asleep. Should I expect this to change and to have to sleep train him later on?
