Anyone prefer to wait before TTC again?

I've seen a lot of women ask how long they have to wait because they want to get right back at it. Last time I m/c we waited 2 years to try again. This time we've settled on 6 months to a year. I did have an early loss but I feel like pregnancy takes a lot out of me physically (I have chronic health issues) and miscarrying exhausts me emotionally, even if I do pretty well (and I'd say I do). Am I the only one who does not want to try again for a while?
