Can I vent?

I think I am going to need a c-section.  I have an underlying medical condition that isn't resolving, which would force me to give up on a vag birth.

My OB is going on vacay the last two weeks of August.  I'm due right after Labor Day.  Everyone keeps telling me "don't go into the hospital the week of a holiday" because all you get are relief nurses and staff and god forbid anything goes wrong!

Supposed to have my first cervix check on Tuesday and my OB just called to say he won't be available, so I had to reschedule with a doctor I've never met.

All along I've had a feeling baby is coming early which means 1) my OB won't be there, 2) I'll be having a c-section with a dr. I have no experience with and 3) I'll be at the hospital, having surgery, right around the last holiday weekend of the summer.

I am kinda not happy right now!!!!!
