My scheduled C section is 8/23, 13 days from today. While yes it is unlikely I will go into labor on my own prior to that, it still could happen. So DH finds out yesterday that his parents are leaving today to drive to Virginia, 16 hours away, for the next week and a half to see family. Seems like odd timing to me, but whatever, I really don't want them there right at the birth anyways.

I get a text message from MIL this morning that says, "We're headed to Virginia for my Dad's b'day.  He'll be 85 Monday!  Please keep your legs crossed for the next few days...."

Maybe it's my hormones, but this is the third person who has requested I not have the baby this week. The other 2 were friends who are going on vacation.

So basically, I'm supposed to just "hold him in" till everybody gets back to suit your schedules? M'kay, I'll get right on that!
