Sig. Warning (Lurker) - Faux pas, need advice.

I'm not trying to offend anyone or be a regular poster on this site. I am a lurker and I am pregnant, but I just think I hurt the lady I love most in this world (my mom, actually - and there's a long explanation, but she was never able to have kids and never legally adopted me) during a sort of routine catch-up phone call about everything that has been going on.

I am not trying to gawk at, mock, or otherwise aggravate anyone on this site and I'm definitely not trying to treat anyone here like a curiosity. I'm scared to talk to her, right now, because I don't want to make this worse, but I don't want to let it go on for too long, because I don't want her to think I don't care about how she feels. I'm just sort of stuck. I would prefer to talk to someone who has been where she is rather than asking anyone on another board who, like me, may have the best of intentions, but just can't really know what she's feeling.
