When to donate meds?

Hello!   I am excited to be at 10wk 3d and have graduated to a "regular" OB doctor with my first appt with her on Tuesday. I'll be scheduling the NT scan then (so nervous!). I feel so fortunate and blessed to have things go so smoothly so far, but can't help myself from being nervous something will go wrong still.

 I do have some meds left over and would like to donate them to someone at our center who could use them. How many weeks along were you until you felt in the clear enough to get rid of your meds? Am I being silly superstitious to have them still?
