PC work notification

I'm not planning on announcing my pregnancy until I'm at least 12 weeks, but I work with a small group of very close knit women. I'm excited about my pregnancy but I'm very nervous about telling them, one woman in particular. She has been trying to get pregnant since I met her (5 years ago) and has had a couple miscarriages (she is in her 40's and very much overweight). She can be very moody and vindictive but she can also be very sweet. I'm unsure of how to break the news to her.

How have you ladies handled telling people who've suffered losses, or told people who you think might have a negative attitude towards you after?
