Pediatrician

I'm starting to look for a pediatrician.  I asked my OB today for recommendations and she gave me a list of some of the ones they recommend, but also said that there are many good ones out there that aren't listed. 

There is a large medical group in the town where I work, which is the next town over from where she will be going to daycare.  It is also about 15 minutes from home.  

Is it better to have the pediatrician closer to home or closer to work/day care?
