Drinking before I was aware of pregnancy... questions

Hello Bump Community,

My husband and I have received word from the nurse at the clinic that we are indeed expecting, but as I am out of province (and therefore not able to see my family doctor for a few months). Problem is, is that this month my husband and I have been doing a lot of celebrating for birthdays, and my business getting off the ground... this means quite a bit of drinking. Does anyone know how this might affect the baby? Should I be worrying about fetal alcohol syndrome?  This would be baby #1.
