Introductions and a question for ya'll -

Heya ladies - my husband and I just found out last week that we are expecting our first child and we are about 5 weeks along (SUPER exciting!!) Looking forward to being on the bump with you all for the upcoming months!

 Anywho - We went to the doctor yesterday for the ol' check up and to get the tour of my uterus. 5 weeks along - no heartbeat yet. She let me know that I actually produced 2 eggs when I ovulated but she only saw one sac. If both eggs were fertilized would there be two sacs, or maybe still just one? Would you be able to see both eggs if one didn't fertilize? Or do they pass/get reabsorbed?

 I'm not sure I am going to be able to wait three weeks for my next appointment. YAY!!
