Progesterone oral pills

Hi-

I recently just found out I was pregnant last week. I've had blood taken two times, and during the week my progesterone levels have gone down. My doctor put me on progesterone pills. I googled about the low progesterone, and noticed it can cause miscarriages. i was just wondering if anyone had a successful story with these pills?? I'm really nervous about the entire situation.
