When are RCS usually scheduled?

July 2012 in C-sections

I haven't had my first appt yet so not sure if we'll be going the VBAC route or RCS. I'm just curious on when RCS usually scheduled for? I was hearing at 39 weeks a lot. Also what happens if you go into labor before your scheduled date?
