When does PIO nerve pain dissipate?

I'm not sure if I hit a nerve the other day (about a week ago), but I pulled back and didn't see any blood. However, it did hurt when I did the shot and since then I have had a pain in my right booty muscle that really hurts and shoots down a ways when bending a certain way or stepping oddly sometimes.

If you've had a similar pain, how long does this take to go away? I am just a little worried since it's been a bit over a week and it's still not changed.
